Still in College?

I had a dream last night that I was still in college and I had all these classes I didn't realize I had signed up for, once I did figure it out I found I had 3 hours to complete like 10 assignments for all of these classes. It was awful! Does anyone else have these? Do they ever go away?

  1. I had those dreams like crazy!!! Every once in awhile I still get them. Mine are almost the same as yours, only mine it's like the last day of finals and I'm trying to figure out if I can still pass the class and graduate if I take the final, even though I've missed the other tests...

  2. I still get those and I graduated 5 years ago! I hate it. Or I know I have a class and I'm like super late for it or cant find anything on campus.

  3. They become less and less frequent, but I still occasionally get them, too. Sorry, no end in sight there. More common are the dreams that I didn't get my work assignments done...

  4. I have had these! And it usually takes me at least a whole minute to figure out that it was just a dream after I wake up!

  5. OK Libby, I'm like 30 years out of college and your dream description (and even more directly, Cassidy's) are so real to me it makes me think I just had that dream again. But in reality, the specific college-end-of-semester dreams have tailed off. So you probably only have another 15-20 years to enjoy that dream. The good news is that it morphs and you have the same dream in another setting. I don't recall what it is now, but I know in the last 3 months I had "the dream" and realized, "wow, that's the college-end-of-semester dream in new shoes." So even when you are 50 and probably when you are old, too, we'll still have that dream.

Just don't start dreaming about Italian soccer teams.

  6. Remember how we played phone tag a couple of weeks ago, and then I think I dropped the ball. I'm so sorry! I miss you, friend! How about I call you soon!
